TRACT 26: HE PROVED IT “Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?” John 11:25 & 26 All hope was lost for Martha and Mary Magdalene - beloved followers of Jesus Christ, because their brother was dead for four days. TRACT 25: JOHN THREE SIXTEEN “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” John 3:16. John three sixteen is a popular verse of the Bible which is famous to children, youths and adults. It was borne out of conversation between Jesus and Nicodemus who happened to be a religious ruler of the Jews. Nicodemus acknowledged his spiritual incompleteness and the fact that Jesus is a messenger directly from God. Jesus knew the thought of his heart and told him that except a man be born again (born of water and of the Spirit) he cannot enter the kingdom of God. The word “born again” generated iota of disbelief in Nicodemus. Not too long, there arose a question between the Jews and the disciples of John the Baptist regarding purifying and the ministry of Jesus. TRACT 24: THE GOOD SHEPHERD “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me” John 10:11 & 27. From generation to generation, God has not left His likeness creatures without massengers of righteousness. He rose up special messengers among men to warn and preach righteousness in their generations; and among all the messengers ever lived, there was non like Jesus. Jesus is the only messenger sent directly from heaven. He is the good and sinless shepherd still living, and approved by God to lead His sheep in His way of righteousness and true worship. Jesus’ countenance was transformed into shining light on the mount of transfiguration in the presence of His three closest disciples (Peter, James and John) and with the appearance of long time ever lived Moses and Elijah. TRACT 23: DEVILS’ BAIT “But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death” James 1:14-15 The devil is the greatest enemy of man, and man also is the enemy of himself. The mission of the devil is to steal and infiltrate man’s heart with evil imaginations, kill his body and destroy his soul in hell. He does that by enticing man with the evil desires of his five sense of organ (eyes, nose, ears, tongue and skin). Man often put blame on devil when he fell into sin but always quick to forget that he has the will power to submit himself to God or yield to evil desires. “Submit yourselves therefore to God, Resist the devil and he will flee from you. TRACT 22: AS IN THE DAYS OF NOAH “For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be” Matthew 24: 38-39. There were many people on the surface of the earth in the days of Noah living carelessly but Noah was only preacher of righteousness. He warned the people to repent from evil imaginations, wickedness and violence but they remained adamant and provoked God the more. God instructed Noah to build an ark as a means of refuge from impeding destruction. TRACT 21: ARE YOU THE LIGHT? “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid” Matthew 5:14 Imagine how the whole world would be without the sun! Also, imagine how this sinful world would look like without genuine Christians!! Of course, there would be total darkness and total corruption. God sent His Light (Jesus) into the world to illuminate the whole world. The Light illuminated His faithful followers first; called them light and commanded them not hid their light but shine before all. “Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven” Mathew 5: 15-16. TRACT 20: ARE YOU THE SALT? “Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith, wherewith shall it be salted? It is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men” Matthew 5:13. The Lord Jesus upon seeing the multitudes that followed him; seized the opportunity, went up into the mountain and gave the Sermon on the Mount. The Sermon on the Month was centered on inward holiness and practical lifestyle of godliness expected of heaven minded individuals. He called His faithful followers the salt of the earth, urged them to have the savour of inward holiness and savour the earth with godliness. “Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his saltness, wherewith will ye season it? TRACT 19: HEAVEN EMBASSY “Not forsaking the assembly of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching”. Hebrews 10:25 As hospital is for those that are sick in the body; so also is the church for those that are spiritually sick. One might not appreciate fully the importance of going to church until one has a little taste of heaven and hell. TRACT 18: TRIPATITE MAN “And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ” 1 Thessalonians 5:23. Man is a tripartite being having body, soul and spirit. The tripartite being could be represented using three concentric rings or circles. The outer concentric ring housed the body, the middle housed the soul and the inner housed the spirit. It is the spirit of man that is connected to the Spirit of the triune God (Father, Son and Spirit). Man is living a borrowed life and one day, God will take His spirit from man. Have you counted the cost if your soul should be lost in hell? The parable of a rich fool was told by Jesus. His ground brought forth plentiful yields. He neither thought of giving glory to God nor considered the poor; but only thought of his self comfort, using the devil personal pronouns of pride “I” six times and “My” five times. “And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? TRACT 16: REPENT “.. Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand” Matthew 4:17 The call to repentance is the central message of the kingdom. John the Baptist prepared the way for the coming Messiah by shouting repent in the wilderness. Jesus began his ministry by preaching to multitude to repent. And the Apostles began the Church on the day of Pentecost by telling people to repent. “And when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the Apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost” Acts 2: 37 -38. TRACT 15: IN A TWINKLE OF AN EYE “ For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord” 1 Thessalonians 4: 16 & 17. Imagine there is a great terrifying sign in the cloud now, visible to all inhabitants of the earth that JESUS CHRIST is coming within the next five (5) minutes to take certain people to heaven where God dwells. TRACT 14: PROFITLESS LIFE “ For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” Mark 8:36. We came into this world with nothing and each and every one of us will leave with nothing. Our certificates, money, houses, cars, clothes, electronic gadgets and all other possessions will be left behind for others to inherit and use. Our cherished bodies will also be left behind after death. The only thing that will not be left behind is the soul. The soul will embark on journey to either Heaven or hell, and nothing can be exchange for one’s soul. “ Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” Mark 8:37. TRACT 13: HE IS STILL BURNING “ And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom ” Luke 16:23. The story of the rich man and Lazarus in the Bible, told by Jesus Christ more than 2000 years ago was not a parable but a true life story. The rich man during his life time had many good things of life; clothed in purple and fine linen, and feasted every day with rich meal. Lazarus on the other hand was very poor and full of sore all over his body. He was always at the rich man gate to beg but received no attention from the rich man. Lazarus died, buried and his soul was carried by God’s angel into Abraham bosom. TRACT 12: GOT HEAVEN’S PASSPORT? “ Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord” Hebrews 12:14. Heaven is the beautiful home of Triune God, angels and saints. It is a holy and peaceful place where souls of saintly Christians go after death or during rapture. The Journey to Heaven is not by human made flight but heaven flight.
