“ For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord” 1 Thessalonians 4: 16 & 17.
Imagine there is a great terrifying sign in the cloud now, visible to all inhabitants of the earth that JESUS CHRIST is coming within the next five (5) minutes to take certain people to heaven where God dwells. What would be your reaction and action? Fearful or Joyful? Confessing your sins or praising God? Quitting your religion or holding onto your religion? Yes! It is certain that the crucified Jesus, now in heaven is coming back again to resurrect the dead saints and catch them away with the living saints into heaven. “For as the lighning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be” Matthew 24:27
It is the will of God that all living souls partake in the great event that will catch the world suddenly and happen within a twinkle of an eye. The death in Christ would be resurrected first and the living souls who are genuine Christians would be caught up together with the resurrected souls to meet Jesus in the air. Souls that died in sin and without Christ will not partake in the peaceful resurrection. Sinners, religionists and backsliders would remain on earth and live under the authority of Anti-Christ (A satanic being). There would be great disasters immediately after the catching away of the saints. Imagine what would happen if the pilot that flew the plane was caught away from the plane. Imagine the scenario if many motorists on motion were caught away from the wheels into the heaven.
God is not happy that many people are living their lives anyhow not thinking of rapture that will take the world suddenly. Sinners, religionists and backslidden Christians living double standard lives will all be left behind after rapture to take the mark of Anti-Christ (666) on their fore heads or right hand. Those that would reject the mark would be tortured and suffered in the hands of Anti-Christ and His agents. They would not be able to transact, sell or buy anything. Those that would take the mark are doomed forever. The sad news is that many would cry and pray after the catching away of the saints, but it would be too late.
The Good news is that God wants you to be among the saints that would be caught up in the air. He wants you to forsake all evil ways and false worship. He wants you to surrender your life to Christ. Jesus died for your sins on the cross of Calvary, buried, resurrected and has gone to heaven to prepare a place for you. You are not too bad for Jesus to save. Humble yourself and ask Jesus to come into your life today.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for your love. I admit that I am a sinner and I confess my sin (mention them one by one). Forgive me and have mercy upon me. Save me, sanctify me, baptize me in the Holy Spirit, and make me always ready for your coming in Jesus’ Name. Amen
