TRACT 50: BEATITUDES OF HEAVENLY MINDED LIFE Beatitudes are the categories of blessings for those who have made up their minds to become followers of Jesus till the end of their lives on earth “And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him: And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying.” Matthew 5:1-2 3. Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven: Those who realized their spiritual emptiness and desire God’s help through Jesus. 4. Blessed are they that mourn : for they shall be comforted: Those who heard God’s word, convicted of their sins and are genuinely sorry for their sins. 5. Blessed are the meek : for they shall inherit the earth: Those who are ready to obey God and make Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. 6. Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness : for they shall be filled: Those who are always ready to be in fellowship; hear God’s word...

TRACT 49: WHY DID JESUS COME TO EARTH? “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved” John 3:16-17. The greatest being ever lived on earth and still living is Jesus. He was with God before the creation and had lived in heaven before he came down into the world. He came into this world through Virgin Mary. Mary conceived him sinless by the power of the Holy Ghost. Why did Jesus leave heaven and come to earth? He came to the earth to: seek and save the lost; reveal the truth; convey the love of God; set the captives free; raise up followers who will continue the works he began; sacrifice and pay the price for man’s redemption; take souls into heaven. Having finished all these, he was received alive into heaven “Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand...

TRACT 48: JOY IN HEAVEN “Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repent” Luke 15:10. What a loving and compassionate Saviour Jesus who wants all sinners and unbelievers to come to repentance and be saved! We read in the book of Luke chapter fifteen how Jesus directed parables unto the self righteous religion leaders who murmured when the publicans and sinners drew near unto him to hear God’s word. The first parable illustrated how a shepherd would rejoice over a lost sheep when found than the ninety nine that were not lost. The second parable illustrated how a woman would rejoice over a lost piece of silver coin that was found more than the remaining nine that were not lost. Jesus spoke these parables to show how heavens rejoice whenever a sinner returns to God. The lost are sinners and self righteous religionists; God sent Jesus to save the lost “For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost” ...

TRACT 47: THE REPENTANT PRODIGAL SON “I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee. And am no worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants. And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him” Luke 15:18-20. The parable of a wasteful younger son was told by the Saviour Jesus. He and his elder brother had everything provided them by their father but woke up one day and asked his father for his inheritance. His father gave him his inheritance and having received his inheritance; he went into a far away country and wasted his substance in a sinful manner. He had no alternative than to pick a pig feeding job for survival. He would desire to be fed from the pigs’ food, but no one gave him. He soon acknowledged he has sinned against heaven and wronged his father. He repe...

TRACT 46: BEAUTY AND HANDSOMENESS WILL FADE “Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say; I have no pleasure in them” Ecclesiates 12:1 Youth is the time of life full of energy and freshness (beauty and handsomeness). It is a time youths tend to forsake their Maker; explore their bodies with the pleasures of life (sexual immoralities, sensual wears, seductive ornaments/make up,bleaching creams, worldly music, videos and pictures, alcohol, drugs, idolatry and evil); neglect and forget the earthly and eternal consequences. Of course, freshness (beauty and handsomeness) will fade; and all sense of organ will become weak and die one day. Everyone will give account of everything done to the body “For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil” Ecclesiates 12:14. It is the will of God that all youths use their energetic ye...

Special Edition TRACT 45: ENGAGE THEM TO DISCOVER THEMSELVES “And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read. And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written” Luke 4:16-17” The Saviour Jesus understood the importance of engaging youth in the work of God; that was why he did not call the elders to be his apostles but the youths who where majorly in their twenties. They were Peter, Andrew, James, John, Philip, Bartholomew, Thomas, Matthew, James, Thaddeus, Simon and Judas Iscariot. Prior to the ministry of Jesus, the elders in the synagogue had been engaging Jesus in the reading of scriptures to the hearing of the entire congregation. It was one of the Sabath day that the Saviour Jesus discovered himself with the three fold ministry (preaching, teaching and healing) when one of the ...

TRACT 44: BRING THEM UP IN THE LORD “Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it” Proverb 22:6. We live in the twenty first century world where many parents, guardians and caretakers have neglected the moral and Christly (spiritual) upbringing of their wards to the detriment of worldly fashion, entertainments, immoralities and fast moving internet world. Children are gifts and heritage of the Lord and a child not properly and prayerfully brought up in the ways of the Lord, ends up becoming an instrument of destruction in the hands of devil. The Saviour Jesus understood the importance of catching the children young for him; that was why he became displeased with the disciples who rebuked those that brought them unto him “But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall n...

TRACT 43: TESTIMONY OF A RELIGION CONVERT “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith” Romans 1:16-17. Note: Before you read this testimony, kindly pray God to enlighten your heart in truth. There is no need to be angry after reading this testimony; for anger is Satan Imparted Nature (sin) and love is of God. God bless you as you read. When I was a priest, I preached once in my parish that Jesus Christ is not God. For me, I believed God never got married, so no son for God. So, I preached that Jesus is not God. Then somebody asked me, “Who is Jesus from the crowd?” I was preaching He is not God, but the question was, “Who is he? To know who is He, I read the entire book of my religion once again. Then I found in my religion book that the name o...

Special Edition TRACT 42: JESUS’ WARNING LETTERS TO THE CHURCHES “Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea” Revelation 1:11. The book of Revelation Chapter Two and Three contains the commendations and warning words of Jesus from Heaven in form of written letters by the hands of Apostle John; who was in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day (Sunday). The letters which were addressed to the first century churches (in Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamos, Thyatira, Sardis and Philadelphia) are relevant to today’s churches; as the living Jesus is not happy with what is going on in the Church he purchased with his precious blood. The churches in Smyrna and Philadelphia were commended without any rebuke. The church in Ephesus left her first love for God while ...

The Virgin Birth of Jesus: Do you believe that Jesus is the only begotten Son of God, conceived sinless without biological father, and born of a virgin into the world to save humanity from the power of second death? (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1: 18-25; John 3:16) 4. Total Depravity, Sinfulness and Guilt of All Men: Do you believe that everyone born of a woman has Satan Imparted Nature (sin) in...

TRACT 40: BASIC INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE LIVING EARTH “All scripture is given by the inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” 2 Timothy 3:16. The Holy Bible is the inspired word of God and final authority in all matters of faith, morals and decisions. It contains the B asic I nstructions B efore L eaving E arth. The two major parts of the Bible are: the Old Testament (Law and Prophets) and the New Testament (New Covenant). The Law and Prophets are completed and fulfilled in the New Covenant by the mediation of Jesus Christ. God attested this on the Mount of Transfiguration (a place where Jesus’ face shone as the sun and his raiment as white as the light); as Moses (Law) and Elijah (Prophets Representative) appeared to Jesus in the presence of Peter, James and John. The three close followers of Jesus wanted to erect three tabernacles for Jesus, Moses and Elijah but God voiced out from bright cloud and ...

TRACT 39: READY FOR THE BRIDEGROOM? “And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, verily I say unto you, I know you not” Matthew 25:10-12. The parable of the ten virgins who went forth to meet the bridegroom was told by the Saviour Jesus. Five of the virgins behaved wisely and took with them extra oil for their lambs while the remaining five virgins behaved foolishly and took no extra oil for their lambs. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and fell asleep with their lambs burning. Announcement was made at midnight unto them to proceed and meet the bridegroom who was now around. The five foolish virgins discovered that their lambs were run out of oil. They begged the other five wise virgins to give them out of their oil but were told to launch out and buy, for sufficiency sake. Wh...

TRACT 38: YOUR CHOICE (HEAVEN OR HELL?) “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it” Matthew 7:13-14. Every living soul on earth is given a choice between Heaven and Hell; and there are two ways that transcend the earth to these two eternal destinations. The narrow way of holiness leads to Heaven while the broad way of sin leads to Hell. Sinners, unbelievers and backslidden Christians follow the broad way of destruction while true followers of Christ, living holily within (in heart) and without (outward modesty and Christly) follow the narrow way of life. Sin brings temporal enjoyment, sickness and death while salvation through Jesus offers purity of life, Holy Spirit baptism and eternal life “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through J...

TRACT 37: ASHAMED OF CHRIST? “For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his glory, and in his Father’s and of the holy angels” Luke 9:26 Are you ashamed as an unbeliever to confess Jesus as the greatest prophet, Son and Saviour of the whole world because of ridicule and humiliation from family members and your religious group? Are you ashamed as a sinner to surrender your life totally unto Jesus because of mockery from friends and fear of forfeiting sinful pleasures? Are you ashamed as a backslidden Christian to retrace your steps back to Christ because you stand a chance of forfeiting worldly pleasure and recognition? Are you ashamed as Christian to carry your Bible and make Christ known to all men? If so, Jesus shall be ashamed of you in eternity “Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he ...

TRACT 36: THE GIVER OF LIFE “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and beliveth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life” John 5:24. We read in the book of John Chapter Eleven Verse Forty Three, how Jesus cried with a loud voice and commanded four days dead Lazarus to come back to life; in the book of Mark Chapter Five Verse Forty One how Jesus held the hand of a dead twelve years old girl and say unto her to arise from death; and in the book of Luke Chapter Seven verse Fourteen how Jesus brought a widow’s dead son back to life. There was not any prophet before or after Jesus who on his own resurrected and brought back others to life save Jesus. Jesus only is the giver of life on earth and eternity beyond “Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never ...
