TRACT 36: THE GIVER OF LIFE

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and beliveth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life” John 5:24.

We read in the book of John Chapter Eleven Verse Forty Three, how Jesus cried with a loud voice and commanded four days dead Lazarus to come back to life; in the book of Mark Chapter Five Verse Forty One how Jesus held the hand of a dead twelve years old girl and say unto her to arise from death; and in the book of Luke Chapter Seven verse Fourteen how Jesus brought a widow’s dead son back to life. There was not any prophet before or after Jesus who on his own resurrected and brought back others to life save Jesus. Jesus only is the giver of life on earth and eternity beyond “Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?” John 11:25-26

It is the will of God for all (men, women, boys, girls and children) to believe in Jesus and become his true followers. To become Jesus true follower is to be desirous of his word, believe in him and live in full obedience to his God’s given word. God does not want the soul of any man to perish after the earthly short life but to pass from death unto eternity in Heaven. God spared not Jesus but made him sacrificial lamb on the cross of Calvary to redeem the precious souls of men. He will by no means reject anyone; be it a sinner, unbeliever or backslider who approaches Him through Jesus in humility of heart for mercy and life

God is not happy with sinners who are living careless life of sin; not minding where there souls would go after death. He is not happy with unbelievers who are blindly following other prophets who could not guarantee life on earth and eternality beyond. He is not happy with backslidden Christians who are falling back into old life of sin due to trials of life and worldly pleasure. The sad news is that no sinner, unbeliever or backslider would pass from death unto life but eternal destruction in Hell. The Good News is that God loves you. He wants you to believe in Jesus and become his true follower. God wants your soul to come and rest with Him in Heaven. He wants you to repent from sin, unbelief, backslidden state and surrender your life totally unto Jesus. Jesus is waiting for you right now.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for sending Jesus to rescue me from the power of second death. I believe that Jesus is the Saviour of the whole world and I confess him as my Lord and Saviour. Forgive me all my sins. Save me, sanctify me, baptize me in the Holy Spirit and write my name in the Book of Life in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

TRACT 130: AMONG THE SONS & DAUGHTERS OF GOD? ''For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God'' Romans 8:14. Does God really have sons and daughters on earth?
