“Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it” Matthew 7:13-14.
Every living soul on earth is given a choice between Heaven and Hell; and there are two ways that transcend the earth to these two eternal destinations. The narrow way of holiness leads to Heaven while the broad way of sin leads to Hell. Sinners, unbelievers and backslidden Christians follow the broad way of destruction while true followers of Christ, living holily within (in heart) and without (outward modesty and Christly) follow the narrow way of life. Sin brings temporal enjoyment, sickness and death while salvation through Jesus offers purity of life, Holy Spirit baptism and eternal life “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” Romans 6:23.
It is the will of God that all (men, women, boys, girls and children) choose the straight narrow way of holiness and abandon the wide way of sin. The ascending narrow way of holiness that leads to Heaven is not easy, very long and requires cross bearing. Cross bearing is the continuous loyalty to Christ despite trials of life, persecution, shame and reproach from the world. The wide way of sin is the descending spacious way that leads to hell. It is very easy, short and requires no cross bearing.
Heavens are not happy that numerous souls follow the part of hell every day while the kingdom of darkness rejoices that many unrepentant souls are harvested into hell every day. God is not happy with sinners and unbelievers who have not chosen the path of righteousness through Jesus. He is not happy with backslidden Christians who have stopped being true followers of Jesus. The sad news is that many will still not choose the way of life after reading this tract but end up in hell.
The Good News is that God loves you. He wants you to choose the narrow way of holiness that leads to Heaven. Jesus has the power to remove the heavy load of sin from your life; cleanse you in his precious blood and grant you the grace to walk the narrow way. He wants you to confess your sins and ask Jesus to be your Lord. He is waiting for you now.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for your love. I humble myself at your word and choose the narrow way of holiness. Forgive me all my sins and cleanse me in your precious blood. Save me, sanctify me, baptize me in the Holy Spirit and grant me the needed grace to carry my cross as I walk the narrow way in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
