TRACT 60: KNOCKING AT YOUR DOOR “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and be with me” Revelation 3:20 What a humble Friend God gave the world! The gentle Saviour left his glorious heavenly abode for earth to save and preserve humanity for heaven. He was born by Virgin Mary in a place where domestic animals were kept. Messiah grew up and became servant instead of exercising Lordship over men. He washed his followers’ feet and served them on the table. He humbled himself before God to the extent that people found it difficult to identify him among his followers. He went about doing good; preaching the kingdom of God, teaching the way of holiness, healing the sick, setting the captives free from demons, forgiving sins, lifting the burdened souls and raising the dead. Jesus did no wrong but was falsely accused by jealous religion leaders; and condemned to die on the cross on Friday. He ...

TRACT 59: TOMORROW MAY BE TOO LATE “And as it appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation” Hebrews 9:27-28 Have you ever for once lost in deep thought on what might actually lead to your final departure on earth: sickness, accident or death at sleep? Frightening still, have you ever considered where you would forever spend eternity: Heaven or Hell? Of a truth, everyone on earth has a short life to live and shall surely die one day. Everyone will stand before the judgment to give account of everything done on earth whether good or bad. It is only those who died in Christ with their salvation intact that will spend eternity in Heaven while those who neglect so great salvation will spend eternity in Hell “How Shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was co...

TRACT 58: AS IN THE DAYS OF LOT “Likewise also as it was in the days of lot; they did eat, they eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed” Luke 17:28-30 They (young and old) woke up the following morning to continue with their normal sexual and immoral system of life but never knew that their time was up on earth. The inhabitants of Sodom and Gomorrah in their days lived in great affluence. They never made God center of their life but provoked Him daily until their filthiness waxed great before God in heaven. God sent His angels from heaven, rained down fire and brimstones and burned them all save lot, his wife and the two unmarried daughters. Our world today is likened to the days of Sodom and Gomorrah and much more evil than their days. The wrath of God is about to unleashed...

TRACT 57: JUDGMENT IN THE HOUSE OF GOD “For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God. And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and sinner appear?” 1 Peter 4: 17-18 The house of God which is the church of Christ is neither a hidden place for sinners nor a place of cover-up for disobedient nominal Christians. The flogging and casting away of false worshippers from the temple of God by Jesus Christ is a fore shadow of what would happen to children of disobedience; who claim to follow Christ but indulge in secret sins. Every work of members that made up the body of Christ will be revealed by fire and whosoever that is found defaulted in holiness will be cast to eternal lake of fire “ Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the t...

TRACT 56: THE FINAL GRACE “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ” Titus 2:11-13 The final grace for the world at this injury time is the grace provided by God unto all men. It is G od’s R iches A t C hrist E xpense. Man was cursed, condemned to die and return back to dust without any hope of ascending into heaven; but Jesus came to his rescue. He left his glory in heaven and came down to the world to do the work of salvation, sanctification and Holy Spirit baptism of man. He suffered on the cross, died and resurrected to earn these for humanity. Jesus finally provided flight tickets to heaven and now left for everyone to submit to God and humbly receive His Grace “But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God r...

TRACT 55: AS SIMPLE AS ABC “For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened” Luke 11: 10. The three basic spiritual experiences freely provided by God for all living souls to have before being secured of heaven are salvation, sanctification and Holy Spirit-baptism. It is now left for everyone to ASK (A-Ask; S-Seek; K-Knock) and receive in faith “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you” Matthew 7:7. Salvation is the forgiveness of sin and deliverance from its consequence (eternal death). It is in Jesus only that salvation is found and not in any prophet “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name in heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved” Acts 4:12. ABC of Receiving Salvation A – Acknowledge that you are sinner. B – Believe that Jesus died on the cross to save you. C – Confess your sins, forsake an...

TRACT 54: REMEMBER LOT’S WIFE [Luke 17:32] “And when the morning arose, the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take thy wife, and thy two daughters, which are here; lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the city… And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed “ Genesis 19:15,17. “Remember lot’s wife” were the words of the Lord Jesus during his sermon on the coming of the Kingdom of God. Salvation is free but not cheap. The price that God demand from all living souls after salvation through Jesus is simply the continuous obedience to His word. Lot found favour and mercy from God to take the message of salvation to all his family members and son’s in law; to escape for their lives but seemed as one that mocked unto his sons in law. Lot’s wife was among the souls (Lot, Lot’s wife and his two unmarried daughte...

TRACT 53: REMEMBER JUDAS ISCARIOT? “Men and brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus. For he was numbered with us, and had obtained part of this ministry. Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out” Acts 1:16-18. Once saved, saved forever” says the false doctrine of eternal security. Bearing a Christian name, being born into a Christian family or belonging to a particular church does not guarantee one is saved. One is saved only by being genuinely born again. Judas Iscariot was one of the twelve closed friends and followers of Jesus; in charge of money bag but was a thief in secret. He had opportunities to repent after several messages from Christ, but revealed his true self by selling Jesus for thirty pieces of silver to those seeking...

TRACT 52: LIKE THE GOOD SAMARITAN? “And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? He said unto him, What is written in the law? How readest thou? And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself. And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live” Luke 10:25-28. The parable of Good Samaritan was told by Jesus in response to the questions asked by a lawyer concerning how to inherit eternal life and his neighbour. In his parable, a certain man was attacked by thieves on his way from Jerusalem down to Jericho; stripped of his cloth, wounded and left half dead. By chance, a passerby who happened to be a priest looked on him lying helplessly on the ground and went on his way without helping him. And likewise a Levite looked on him and passed by on the other side. But a ...

TRACT 51: LIKE THE BEREAN BELIEVERS? “These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so. Therefore many of them believed; also of honourable women which were Greeks, and of men, not a few” Acts 17:11-12. The Bereans are people who lived in a place called Berea. They were not believers in Christ until Paul and Silas due to rejection from unbelieving Thessalonians Jews, left Thessalonica for Berea and preached the message of Salvation. The Bereans received the gospel message with all readiness of mind, and search the Scriptures daily to see whether the gospel message is true. This further increased their belief in what Paul had preached concerning the sacrificial death of Jesus and his resurrection “But as many that as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name” John 1:12. It is the will of God for...
