Special Edition TRACT 35: A CHRISTIAN? “Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God” James 4:4. We read in the book of Genesis Chapter Thirty Five how Jacob commanded his household to change their garments and put away the strange gods in their hands and ears prior to the hour of worship at Bethel (House of God). They had no Bible but knew in their conscience that it is an abomination to put on idolatrous adornments. In the early days of the church, the believers were not called Christians. It was in the Antioch Church the disciples through their inward and outward dispositions were first called Christians by the people. Their lifestyles depicted that of Christ and varied significantly from the rest of the society around them “… And the disciples were first called Christians first in Antioch” Acts 11:26. We live in the twenty first century whereby ...

Special Edition TRACT 34: CONQUERED DEATH FOR YOU ''I am he that liveth, and was dead; and behold, I am alive for everyone, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death'' Revelation 1:18. They were two sons of the morning stars (Rev 22:16 and Isaiah 14:12) . One was bright morning star and begotten of the Heavenly Father while one was not bright and disowned. The battle started when the son of the morning star thought of taking the position of bright morning star’s Father. He was cast out from heaven into the earth and became the enemy of humanity. The son of the morning star came subtly and deceived the first woman on earth to eat of the forbidden fruit. She ate of the forbidden fruit and gave it to the first man. Sin entered the world; as man and woman were banished from the Garden of Eden. They were cursed by God to die; and humanity became captives in the hands of Satan who was now having the keys of hell and death. Who will deliver humanity from the ca...

TRACT 33: IT IS FINISHED “I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do” John 17:4 He was sent by the Heavenly Father for the great work of salvation; started by observing forty days-forty nights’ prayers and fasting, and received instruction to embark on three fold ministry (preaching, teaching and healing) before going the way of the cross. He was thirty years of age when he started his three fold ministry which he did for three years. At the end of the three years, he went back to God in prayer at Gethsemane to beg the Father not to go the way of the cross; but surrendered to His Father’s will. Jesus finished the work of salvation on the cross of Calvary by surrendering himself as sacrificial lamb for the sins of the whole world “When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost” John19:30. It is the will of God that all (men, women, boys, girls and children)...

TRACT 32: FORSAKEN BECAUSE OF YOU “Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour. And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lamasabachthani? That is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? Matthew 27:45-46. Why did God forsake His Son on the cross of Calvary? God forsook His begotten Son because he carried the sin of the whole world upon himself and His eyes are too pure to behold sin. Jesus was sent into the world to pay the greatest price of redemption once and for all for humanity. The price required the blood of sinless man other than animal. No other prophet born into the world before and after Christ had the sinless qualification save Jesus. The process of redemption required God to forsake Jesus. For three hours, there was total darkness over all the land while the kingdom of darkness rejoiced that Christ mission on earth was ended. Thank God, Jesus submitted himself for the redemption pro...

TRACT 31: HIS WORDS ON THE CROSS “And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the male factors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left. Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do…” Luke 23:33-34. He was a preacher of repentance, righteousness and love while on earth. He preached: repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. He preached: except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of Scribe and Pharisees; ye shall no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. He preached love. He loved God with the all of his heart, soul and mind. He went about doing well; healing the sick, feeding the hungry, setting the captives free and raising the dead. In all these, he sinned not but was condemned to die on the cross by jealous religious leaders and sinners. He practiced what he preached as he prayed for all his accusers while on the cross to pacify God “Ye have heard hath it hath been said, ...

TRACT 30: WOUNDED AND KILLED FOR YOU “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed” Isaiah 53:5. The only sin leveled against him was that he called himself Son of God. He was traced in the night to the place where he went and prayed; betrayed by one of his closest friend and arrested by armed multitude. His closest friends abandoned him and fled when he was arrested; smote, spit on his face, stripped, beaten and mocked by the multitude and soldiers. The beating and whipping was so severe that it torn his flesh from head down to feet. A notorious sinner and murderer was released Jesus replaced him for crucifixion. He was made to carry his heavy cross a long distance to the place of crucifixion. The nails were driven into his hands and feet. The crown of thorns placed upon his heads cut deeply into his scalp; as he bled all over his body from head down to feet....

TRACT 29: STOP DESTROYING GOD’S BODY “What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s” 1st Corinthians 6: 19-20. Imagine you purchased a brand new car and leased it out to a taxi-driver for transportation business with a fixed weekly monetary remittance. And you noticed within just a week that your brand new car has been rough handled and badly damaged by the taxi-driver. How would you feel and what would be your reaction? Of course, you would feel sad and hate the taxi-driver. This is what any sinner sinning against his/her body is doing to almighty God. God gave man a good and wonderful body for the praise of His Holy name but man always corrupt and destroy it. He is too quick to question the handiwork of God and forget that he will give account of the things done in his body one day “Fo...

TRACT 28: A NEW MAN? “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” 2 Corinthians 5:17. Anyone born into this world possesses an adamic or sinful nature, inherited from the old man. Adamic nature stemmed out from Adam and Eve after they corrupted themselves with the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden. A person born with adamic nature have natural tendency to imagine evil thought in his/her heart and do evil. No amount of moral obligation or religious cleansing can remove this nature except through Jesus. When Jesus is invited; he cleanses one’s heart in his precious blood, fills it with the Holy Spirit to bear the fruit of the Spirit. “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law” Galatians 5:22 & 23 > It is the will of God that all (men, women, boys, girls and children) be in Christ a...

TRACT 27: NOT THE SAME GOD “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time” 2 Timothy 2: 5 & 6. It is a popular saying by some religionists and moralists that we are serving the same God but only with different approaches. How can He be the same God giving instructions to devotees of a particular religion; to marry more than one wife and the other to stick to only one wife; drink alcohol and the other not to drink alcohol; wash in water for the remission of sin and the other not to wash; sacrifice animals for the atonement of sins and the other not to sacrifice animal; kneel before human idols during prayer and the other not to kneel; fight and kill to defend their religion and the other to love and make pace with all men? The truth is that there is only one God and only one way to God. The true way is Jesus. “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: ...
