TRACT 148: DESIRE A HEAVENLY CROWN?

"Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain". Ist Corinthians 9:24.

What type of race are you in, heavenly race or earthly race? Without shred of doubt, we live on earth to work, multiply, replenish and to run the heavenly race. Those who live on earth without partaking in heavenly race are blindfolded by Satan.Heavenly race is a narrow path of holiness which leads to heaven - where saints are rewarded with glorious and shiny crowns. These crowns are the crown of life, the crown of righteousness, the incorruptible crown, the crown of glory and the crown of rejoicing.

The Crown of Life is a reward for believers who live daily by the Word of God; resisting the urge to fall into temptation and persevering through trials of life. James 1:12.

The Crown of Righteousness is a reward for believers who hunger and thirst after righteousness; living peacefully with all men and walking holily with God. 2 Timothy 4:8.

The incorruptible crown is a reward for believers who faithfully run the Christian race; living a disciplined life, devoid of worldliness and corruption. 1 Corinthians 9:25.

The Crown of Glory is a reward for faithful church pastors, elders and God's servants who faithfully serve God and the body of Christ in truth and spirit. 1 Peter 5:4.

The Crown of Rejoicing is a reward for believers who are faithful in winning souls for the kingdom of God and whose lifestyles is a living Bible that attract men to Christ. 1 Thessalonians 2:19.

These crownings will take place in heaven. Sinners and unbelievers will not be in heaven but shut out of heaven into the outer darkness beyond (hell). Peradventure you have not started running the heavenly race, you can start today. Repent of your sins and unbelief and be a faithful disciple of Christ. You must not miss heaven.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for calling me to run the heavenly race. I am sorry for all the years wasted in runing the earthly race - the broad way that leads to destruction. Have mercy upon me and cleanse me from all sins. I make a firm decision to be a faithful disciple of Jesus. Grant me the grace to run the heavenly race til the end. In Jesus' name. Amen.

TRACT 146: THERE IS HOPE FOR YOU "For with God nothing shall be impossible". Luke 1:37 You are unique and precious in the sight of God. God thinks of you and has special plan for you. His plan for you is to live a fulfilled life on earth and to reign with Him in Heaven. Zechariah and Elizabeth were examples (Luke 1).
