TRACT 150: HOW IS YOUR RELATIONSHIP...?
“Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind... And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself” Matthew 22:37 & 39.
How is your relationship with God and with others? Are you walking in holiness with God and living in peace with those around you?
God created us for relationships – with Him and with others. God is love and and He designed us to reflect His love in our relationship with others. God loves us more than words can express. He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to save us from sin and the power of second death (John 3:16). The love of God should compel us to serve Him in truth and spirit and edify the church founded by His Son - Jesus. And the love of Christ should compel us to leave peacefully with all men.
Many assume they have a relationship with God, but sin separates them from Him. They live in a world fractured by broken relationships and hurtful interactions. Yet, the key to experiencing healthy, loving relationships that honor God lies in embracing Jesus at the center of our lives and understanding His design for meaningful relationships.
How is your relationship with God and fellow men? Holily with God and peacefully with all men? If not:
1. Admit your sin and recognize your need for forgiveness.
2. Believe in Jesus - Trusting in His sacrifice and resurrection.
3. Confess Jesus as your Lord and Saviour.
The new life in Christ will empower you to love God wholeheartedly, love all people unconditionally, worship God in truth and in spirit, and walk peacefully with all men.
PRAYER: Dear God, thank You for Your love and guidance. I acknowledge my sin and need for forgiveness. I believe in Jesus Christ and receive Him as my Lord and Savior. Help me to love you with all my heart and strength; and give me wisdom and strength to build healthy relationships and follow peace with all men. In Jesus’ Name I prayed. Amen
