TRACT 129: JESUS THE SAME TODAY

''Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever'' Hebrews 13:8.

It is the love Jesus has for the world that made him volunteer himself before God and Angels to leave heaven for earth; to save humanity from sin, sickness, sorrow, shame, suffering, Satan and from the power of second death. Man and woman lost their peace and fellowship with God in the Garden of Eden after eating from the forbidden fruit. Consequentially, Satan capitalized on man's disobedience and began to afflict men’s bodies and souls. Jesus came into this world to restore the broken fellowship, to set humanity free from every affiction of the devil on earth and to provide eternal rest for the souls of men in heaven.

Jesus said ''Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest'' Matthew 11:28. No one (sinner) is too bad for Jesus to save. No sickness is above the power of Jesus to heal. No sorrow is too deep for Jesus to fill with happiness. No garment of shame can Jesus not roll away. Jesus is never too late to calm every suffering and storm of life. He can change every disappointment to appointment. At the mention of the name of Jesus, Satan and his demons bow and tremble. Jesus is on the right side of God in Heaven interceeding for the world and is merciful to give any repented sinner and saint eternal rest in heaven.

''Today'', Jesus is still in the business of forgiving sinners, healing the sick, setting the captives free from demonic oppressions, giving peace of mind to the sorrowful, giving hope to the hopeness, turning tests and trials of life into testimonies and calming every storms of life. Jesus is still empowering his true followers and servants to do miracles on earth in his name.

However, the greatest miracles one can receive from God through Jesus that would last forever are miracles of salvation (forgiveness of sin), sanctification (cleansing of heart from impure thought) and Holy Spirit baptism (equipment of power from on high for service unto God and humanity).

Dear reader! Jesus really cares for you. He cares for your body, soul and spirit. He wants you to surrender your totality unto his Lordship. He wants you to approach him with every burden. He is the burden lifter and he is mighty to save.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for sending Jesus to this world to save me. I acknowledge that I need Jesus to help me, deliver me from all afflictions and grant me joy of salvation. Save me, sanctify and baptize me in the Holy Spirit, and grant me the grace to continue in holiness of life. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

TRACT 130: AMONG THE SONS & DAUGHTERS OF GOD? ''For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God'' Romans 8:14. Does God really have sons and daughters on earth?
