TRACT 128: ALL HOPE IS NOT LOST

''And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay'' Matthew 28:5-6.

To his disciples, all hope in Jesus was lost as Jesus had been crucified and dead. Though, they witnessed Jesus raising people from dead but never taught Jesus could raise himself. Jesus died on Friday and resurrected on Sunday. Hallelujah! The resurrection power is still alive today. Jesus has the power to save his sincere seekers from sin, sickness, sorrow, shame, Satan; and souls from second death. All hope is not lost as Jesus is sitting on the right side of God in heaven; listening to prayers of saints and repentant sinners, and making intercession before God.

A song writer wrote: What a friend we have in Jesus, All our sins and griefs to bear! What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer! Oh, what peace we often forfeit! Oh, what needless pain we bear. All because we do not carry everything to God in prayer.

• Are you sorrowful and thinking all hope is lost? Go to the Lord in prayer.
• Are you sick in your body? Take it to the Lord in prayer.
• Are you passing through shame as a result of delay and disappointment? Carry everything to the Lord in prayers.
• Are you afflicted by Satan? Call on Jesus in prayers.
• Are you tired of your loads of sin? Carry them to the Lord in Prayers; as Jesus is mighty to save, sanctify and baptize in the Holy Spirit.

Dear reader! Jesus is never too late to intervain in your life if you will sincerely open the door of your heart to him today.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for the hope I have in your Son Jesus. I am so sorry for many times I have wandered away from your presence. Have mercy upon me; save me from sin and every affliction of Satan. I humbly open the door of my heart to you today. Come in and visit me with spiritual and physical blessings today. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
