TRACT 126: JESUS, YOUR LORD or ONLY SAVIOUR?

''And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?'' Luke 6:46.

Nearly everyone who goes to church would claim Jesus as Lord and Saviour if confronted with the question, ''Is Jesus your Lord and Saviour?'' Unfortunately, many are ignorant of what it meant to call Jesus Lord and Saviour. Of course, Jesus saves and forgives any sinner who out of contrite heart approaches the throne of grace for forgiveness. Jesus remains Lord if the repented sinner in humility of heart chooses to remain obedient like sheep under Jesus the Good Shepherd. Jesus said '' Not everyone that saith unto me Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven'' Mathew 7:21.

* Not everyone who goes to church will make heaven; but one who hears the word of God and practise it.
* Not every pastor or teacher of the Bible will make heaven; but one who teaches the undiluted word of God and live by it.
* Not every chorister will enter the kingdom of God; but one who sings with grace in his/her heart and to the glory of God only.
* Not every church worker will make heaven but one who serves God in truth and without eye service.
* Not every female that is called a sister in the church will make heaven; but she whose heart is pure and whose outward clothing is modest and godly.
* Not every male that is called a brother in the House of God will enter heaven; but one who fears God and does not lust after the flesh and earthly things.
* Not every offering and tithe giver will make heaven; but one whose source of income is pure.
* Not every parent will make heaven; but one who trains his/her God's given children in the way of the Lord.
* Not every child will enter the kingdom of God; but one who obeys his/her parents in the Lord.
* Not every ''Christian'' will make heaven; but one who is obedient to the command of Jesus in preaching the gospel.

Dear reader, is Jesus truly your Lord and Saviour? If Jesus is both your Lord and Saviour, you will choose to keep God's commandment and remain as sheep under the Lordship of the Shepherd, Jesus. Heaven awaits all whose Jesus is Lord and Saviour.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for sending your Son, Jesus into the world to be my Saviour and Lord. I repentof many ways I have broken the heart of your Son Jesus through disobedience to your word. Have mercy upon me, save me, sanctify me and baptize in the Holy Spirit. Grant me the grace to be like sheep under the Lordship of the Saviour Jesus. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen MORE GRACE TO CONTINUE IN NEWNESS OF LIFE

TRACT 130: AMONG THE SONS & DAUGHTERS OF GOD? ''For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God'' Romans 8:14. Does God really have sons and daughters on earth? To an unbeliever or non follower of Christ, God neither has any son nor daughter.
