TRACT 116: ARE YOU A 6 O'CLOCK CHRISTIAN?

"Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord" Hebrews 12:14.

Twelve (12) is a perfect number that symbolizes God's perfection, holiness and authority; and six (6) is the number associated with man. On a round clock, 12 is vertically up in the direction of heaven where God, Jesus, Holy Spirit, Saints and Holy Angels dwell; while 6 is vertically down to earth where men live. The lifestyle of a true Christian is like a special round clock whose long minute hand is stationed up at 12 and short hour hand is stationed down at 6. A true Christian is a 6 O'CLOCK Christian who is pure in heart, living peacefully with all men, conscious of all heaven's holiness demands, and longing for the kingdom of God "If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God" Colossians 3:1.

Just as the longer hand of a clock points to heaven at 6 0' CLOCK, a true Christian is conscious of heaven while living on earth. Paradventure you are in doubt whether you are a 6 O'CLOCK Christian or not? Please, kindly test yourself in the light of the following questions. If any one of your answers is NO, then you are not a 6 O'CLOCK Christian but a 6:30 Christian (backslidden Christian) and urgently need to repent.

1. Are you holy in thought, in the secret and in the public?
2. Do you feed your soul daily in the light of God's word, in prayer and worship?
3. On the Lord's Day (Sunday), do you always go to church early before service?
4. Does your lifestyle (mode of dressing, utterances and actions) glorifies God and makes others become saints?
5. Do you have all the nine fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance)?
6. Are you dutiful at your job, fervent in spirit and preaching to others the gospel of repentance?

To you religious devotee (unbeliever), it is the will of God for you to become a 6 O'CLOCK child and true worshiper. Only Jesus can make you a 6 O'CLOCK child and no other prophet or human deity. Jesus is the only prophet that came from heaven and the connection between God in heaven and man on earth. He knows everything about God and all His demands from men regarding holiness. Your self righteousness is like a filthy rag in the sight of God. You can only be righteousness before God when you are in Christ. Will you allow Jesus to connect you to God today?

To you sinner, have you counted the cost if you should die in sin today and your soul be lost forever in hell? You are not too bad for Jesus to forgive and to make a 6 O'CLOCK Christian. Jesus wants you to repent of sin and humbly ask him for cleansing in his precious blood, so that he can connect you to God. Will you answer Jesus' call now?

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for love and call to repentance. I humbly come before thy presence to seek for forgiveness and cleansing in the precious blood of your Son Jesus. Have mercy upon me and forgive me all my sins. Save me, sanctify me, baptize me in the Holy Spirit and grant me the grace to be a 6 O'CLOCK Christian in Jesus' Name. Amen
