TRACT 151: IT'S A BORROWED LIFE

"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them" Ephesians 2:10.

You are wonderfully and beautifully made by God in His image, uniquely crafted to fulfil a special purpose on earth. Among billions of living souls, God knows you and ever interested in your life. His plan for you is to prosper you on earth and reign with Him in Heaven.

The life you live is not yours but God's. It is a borrowed life sustained by God's breath. When the divine breath is withdrawn, life ceases and what remains is a mortal body.

Every birthday is a reminder that time is ticking and eternity awaits. It is not a plus one but a minus one to eternity. Life on earth is temporary, and you will leave behind all possessions, titles and relationships. Your soul will journey on and spend eternity in Heaven or Hell.

What then is the essence of your existence on earth? The essence is to know God and love Him; serve others in love - reflecting Jesus' teachings and characters. You are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to serve and to do good to all men.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I am so grateful for being alive and not in hell. I thank you for yet another grace and free salvation in Christ to make all my ways right. I have decided to give my life to Jesus and reflect his characters. Have mercy upon me and save me from the power of sin, self and Satan. I ask for grace to serve you in holiness and do good to all men. In Jesus' Name I pray. Amen.

TRACT 142: DO YOU LOVE GOD? "If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also" 1John 4:20-21. A story was narrated by a teacher to his primary school pupils on how three ladies were told by their pastor that Jesus would be their guest in their places of abode on a certain day.
