Who is the greatest messenger from God? It is a sign of dishonour to Almighty God to compare Jesus with any earthly prophet or religion founder. Jesus is not an Angel but the beloved Son of God whom God Himself attested to (Mathew 3:17). He was with God before the creation of the world (John 1:1). Jesus was sent from heaven into the world to set humanity free from Satan, and to reveal the only way of righteousness that leads to heaven. He remains the only being not conceived in sin but conceived by a virgin through the power of the Holy Spirit. Jesus did not die of sickness but was crucified on the cross of Calvary by jealous religious leaders; and put in the grave by his disciples. He went down to the place of death and collected the keys of death and hell from Satan. He came back to life on the third day; and after 40 days on earth, ascended into heaven to prepare a place for whosoever would accept him as Lord and Saviour before he or she dies.
What Jesus never did on earth: One, Jesus never committed any sin or asked God to forgive his sins. Two, Jesus never lusted, nor had carnal knowledge with a young lady or older woman. Three, Jesus never carried sword and was never aggressive on earth. Four, Jesus never forced anyone to accept his God's given message of righteousness. Five, Jesus never consulted diabolical powers to know about the future. Six, Jesus never supported many husbands to a wife or many wives to a husband.
What Jesus did on earth: One, Jesus was a teacher of righteousness, preached repentance from sin; went about healing the sicks, blinds, lame, deaf and infirmities, raised the deads and cast out demons. Two, Jesus taught humanity how to stay humble before God and meek before men. He always began each day in worship to God and ended each day in worship to God. He washed the feet of his disciples and served them. Three, Jesus forgave sins and showed compassion to sinners. Four, Jesus miraculously provided free foods and drinks to the multitudes. Five, Jesus exercised authority and power over nature, Satan and his demons. Six, Jesus voluntarily laid down his life to earn salvation for mankind. Seven, Jesus established his Church on earth that would usher the souls of men to the kingdom of God in heaven.
Who are the greatest people on earth? The greatest people on earth are those who have repented from sin and unbelief; and faithfully obeying the message of Jesus on holiness and agape love. They are the true members of Jesus' Church and are not far from the Kingdom of God. It is eternally dangerous to be a member of a church which holiness is not its watchword. It is also eternally dangerous to be practicing religion that does not exalt Jesus as the greatest Messenger and Saviour. Dear reader, do you believe in Jesus as the greatest Messenger and Saviour? Are you among the greatest people on earth?
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for your word. I believe Jesus is the greatest Messenger and Saviour of the whole world. I repent of my sins and ask for the cleansing in the atoning blood of your beloved Son Jesus. Save me, sanctify me baptize me in the Holy Spirit and grant me the grace to live righteously every day of my life. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
