''Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved'' Acts 4:12.
The above verse of the Bible was the words of Apostle Peter when he and John were set before the Sanhedrin. They were arrested just because they used the name of Jesus at the beautiful gate of the temple to heal a man lame from his mother's womb. The religious leaders could not heal the man all those years but Peter did. The man rose up and walked at the mention of the name of Jesus. In Jesus name, there is salvation, healing, deliverance, protection and provision. The kingdom of darkness bow at the mention of the name of Jesus, because God has highly exalted the name of Jesus above any other name in heaven and on earth ''Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth. And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father'' Philippians 2:9-11.
lf there is any name to adorn on earth, it is the name of Jesus. It is the name when mention on earth stands heavens at attention. A song writer wrote in appreciation of how Jesus made him free: There is no name in earth o Heav'n above, That we should give such honour and such love, As the blessed name, let us all acclaim, That wondrous, glorious name of Jesus...Jesus is the sweetest name I know, And He's just the same as His lovely name, And that's the reason why I love Him so; Oh, Jesus is the sweetest name I know. Oh! What a precious name in heaven whereby inhabitants of the earth must be saved.
Through Jesus' sacrificial death on the cross of Calvary, Jesus purchased for humanity forgiveness and full salvation, sanctification and holiness, healing, deliverance from demonic oppression and curses, and Heaven. The name of Jesus only saves saints and sinners on earth and not sinners suffering in hell. In hell, they cry and shout the name of Jesus to save them but too late. All blind followers of prophets and deity gods would be denied heaven after their demise on earth. Unbelievers who refuse Jesus to be their Lord and Saviour would shockingly found themselves in hell.
The Good News is that God loves you and wants you to have belief in the name of Jesus. Jesus is the greatest of all massagers of God. He is also the beloved Son who God has committed the judgment of the world unto. God wants you to accept Jesus as you Lord and Saviour so that he (Jesus) would not deny you a place heaven. Jesus wants you to repent of all sins and follow him.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for your love and for sending Jesus to save me, I acknowledge that I am a sinner. Have mercy upon all my sins and cleanse me in the blood of Jesus. Deliver me from demonic oppression and sickness. Save me, sanctify me, baptize me in the Holy Spirit and grant me the grace to abide in Christ always, in Jesus' Name. Amen
