TRACT 91: ONCE AGAIN THE GOSPEL MESSAGE

''For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life'' John 3:16.

The Gospel Message is the Good News first proclaimed by the angels of God that the Saviour is born into the world. The Saviour of the world is Jesus anointed by the Spirit of the LORD to preach the gospel to the inhabitants of the world; to heal the sick, to set the captives free from demonic oppression and to harvest souls of men into the kingdom of heaven ''The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord'' Luke 4:18-19.

Jesus committed the gospel message into the hands of his disciples and commissioned them to preach the gospel message throughout the whole world. The same gospel message is still reaching the world today. A song writer wrote: Once again the gospel message, from the Saviour you have heard; Will you heed the invitation? Will you turn and seek the Lord? Come believing! come believing! Come to Jesus look and live! Come believing! come believing! come to Jesus! look and live!

Once again the gospel message is reaching out to all sinners. God wants all sinners to repent of sins and come to Jesus for cleansing in his precious blood. Once again the gospel message is reaching out to unbelievers. God wants you to repent from unbelief and believe that Jesus is the Saviour of the whole world. Once again the gospel message is reaching out to backsliders. God wants you to repent from worldliness and live a life that glorifies God in heaven. He wants you to wake up from spiritual slumbering and begin to make Christ known to sinners and unbelievers by your lifestyles.

The plain truth is that salvation, sanctification and Holy Spirit are freely available for you, if you decide to genuinely repent from sin and look up unto Jesus. Jesus has the power to save you from sin, self, sickness and Satan. He has the power to sanctify/purify your heart. Jesus has the power to baptize you in the Holy Spirit to be fully guided on the path of holiness that leads to heaven.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for your love and the gospel message. I am heeding to your invitation to forsake sin and believe the gospel message. Please, have mercy upon me and write my name in the book of life. Save me, sanctify me, baptize me in the Holy Spirit and grant me the grace to tell others about the gospel message daily, in Jesus' Name. Amen
