TRACT 88: BE THE BIBLE

''Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.... Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven'' Matthew 5:14&16

The Bible is the light of God's word. It contains the basic instructions that guide believers in Christ unto all righteousness. A slogan says '' You are the Bible people read''. True believers in Christ read the Bible and live out the humbly life of Christ for other people (unbelievers and sinners) to see the light. Many sinners and unbelievers may never get a copy of the Bible and read until they read the Bible in Christians. And so, Christians are not to be careless in words and actions but live a life that glorify God ''And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him'' Colossians 3:17.

A song writer wrote: While passing through this word of sins, and others your life shall view, Be clean and pure without within, let others see Jesus in you. Let others see Jesus in you,..in you; let others see Jesus in you;...in you; keep telling the story, be faithful and true, let others see Jesus in you. God wants all Christians to be examples of believers in seasoning utterances, modest dressing, humility and meekness, agape love, inward and outward purity; so that sinners and unbelievers can come to the light. He wants Christians to be Bible others read. God wants all followers of Christ to be the Bible anytime and anywhere.

What is the essence of calling yourself Christian when you are a fan of sensual wears and make up? What is the essence of calling yourself Christian when you are a fan of worldly music and movies? Of what essence is your Christianity when your mouth is full of corrupt communications, lying and backbiting. Of what essence is your Christianity when you often fall into temptation? Many Christians will miss heaven simply because they failed to be light.

The Good News is that the grace of God is still available for you. God wants you to repent from ungodliness and embrace righteousness. He wants you to humble yourself totally and live by every bit of His word. Jesus has the power to transform your life into shinning light.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for your love and call into marvelous light. I am very sorry for misleading others into sin through my careless life. Have mercy me and cleanse me from all filthiness. Save me, sanctify me, baptize me in the Holy Spirit and grant me the grace to live out the Bible in Jesus' Name.

TRACT 130: AMONG THE SONS & DAUGHTERS OF GOD? ''For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God'' Romans 8:14. Does God really have sons and daughters on earth? To an unbeliever or non follower of Christ, God neither has any son nor daughter.
