TRACT 86: TIME IS RUNNING OUT!

''And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us put on the armour of light'' Romans 13:11-12.

Time is running out! Death or rapture can come anytime!! Heaven and Hell are real!!! It is certain that life will not continue forever and everyone will transit from earth into eternity beyond (Heaven or Hell) either by death or rapture. At rapture, repentant sinners and saints would be caught into heaven. At death, saints would open their eyes in heaven; while sinners, unbelievers and backsliders would open their eyes in Hell. For every plus one year old (birthday) is minus one of the years one would spend on earth ''Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away'' James 4:14.

A song writer wrote: Careless soul, Oh, heed the warning, for your life will soon be gone; Oh, how sad to face the judgement, unprepared to meet thy God. Many careless souls will suddenly see themselves in Hell because of unpreparedness and procrastination of their salvation in Christ. The careless souls are sinners who are engrossed in the works of darkness(sexual immoralities, idolatry, stealing, lying, killing, cheating, drunkenness, smoking, bribery, anger, malice, gluttony, hatred, cultism, hooliganism, lust and corruption). The careless souls are backslidden Christians, who are cold in their spiritual matters (prayer, Bible reading, evangelism and fellowship) but hot in worldliness. The careless souls are unbelievers, who only believe that Jesus was a messenger of God and not the Saviour of the whole world. Take time to think of where you will spend eternity. Life is short, death and rapture is sure; as Heaven and Hell are real.

The Good News is that God loves you and wants you to spend eternity in Heaven with Him after your short life on earth. He wants you to forsake all works of darkness and put on the armour of light in Christ Jesus. God wants you to come out of ungodliness and unbelief. He wants you to repent and accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. Jesus is waiting for you now.

V Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for your love and for reminding me of shortness of life and eternity. Have mercy upon me Lord and forgive me all my sins and unbelief. Save me, sanctify my heart, baptize me in the Holy Spirit; and grant me the grace to live daily in holiness and eternity in view in Jesus' Name. Amen
