TRACT 84: STOP THE DIRTY TALKS

''Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.'' Ephesians 4:29.

Dirty talks are words that come out from the mouth of someone whose mind is corrupt. These words when voiced out corrupt the minds of the hearers, generate evil thought and make hearers who are not spiritually strong fall into temptation. Direct mentioning of the feminine and masculine sensual parts; and shamefully discussion of secret thing between man and woman are dirty talks which are capable of corrupting the minds of young and old '' Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret'' Ephesian 5:4&12.

We often see herbal drugs vendors in public places like markets and motor parks, advertising their products with megaphones; jestingly and shamefully mentioning the sensual parts of human body. Many worldly musicians often incorporate dirty talks in their song's lyrics in order to have more fans. Just as dirty talks is common among ladies and women when they are together; so also it is among guys and men. It is also fond of some so called men of God mentioning sensual parts of the human body on the pulpit during sermon.

Dirty talks do not edify but corrupt the souls of men. All those fond of uttering dirty words are sinners and instruments in the hands of Satan. A Christian who utters dirty words is a backslidden Christian, and a church fond of inviting jesters is a backslidden church. Life and death lie in the tongue and anyone who misuses it to harm the souls of other will not escape the wrath of God.

The Good News is that God loves you and wants to clean your heart from filthiness. He does not want your mouth to send you to hell. God wants you to accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. Jesus is waiting for you now.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for your love. Forgive me all the dirty words I have uttered. Save me, sanctify me, baptize me in the Holy Spirit and grant me the grace to edify others in all my utterances in Jesus' Name. Amen
