
TRACT 132: YOU CAN BE PERFECT ''Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect'' Matthew 5:48. The decision to be a true follower of Christ is a decision to live a perfect life before God and perfect peace with all men. To be perfect as a Christian is to be morally and spiritually upright. What does it mean to be spiritually upright? It means to possess the nine fruit of the Spirit (love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance - Galatians 5:22-23) ; to serve and walk with God in holiness. On the other hand, to be morally upright means to exemplify godly lifestyle before men. A Christian who is morally upright will be good example to others in godly and modest dressing, in edifying utterances, in meekness and comportment, in outlook (devoid of harlotry Jezebel or gay's adornment), in actions and reactions, in cleanliness and personal hygiene.
