TRACT 104: VALENTINE OR GOOD SAMARITAN DAY? ''A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one and another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another'' John 13:34-35. It has become a norm for the world to commemorate some special days; of such days include Valentine day (February 14) and the Good Samaritan day (March 13). The Good Samaritan day commemoration is biblical and every March 13 is used for commemoration of Catherine Genovese, who was stabbed to death in 1964. Her neighbours would have saved her life had it been one of them acted like the Good Samaritan. On March 13, few people around the world who know what true agape love means do something for others; volunteer their time and help others, help strangers, visit the orphans and widows and also share the gospel of Christ to others.
